Thomas George has served as the Chief Executive Officer of BreakPoint Labs, since he co-founded the company in 2015. He is responsible for the formation of corporate strategy and overall operation of BreakPoint Labs, including the high-quality performance of government and commercial contracts. Tommy has spear-headed the corporate attainment of CMMI-Services Level III and ISO 9001:2015 certifications to institutionalize processes yielding high-quality delivery of cybersecurity services to DoD, Federal, and commercial clients. Tommy has over 15 years of program management experience leading a large technical workforce conducting offensive and defensive cyber operations supporting complex government missions. Tommy is also a recognized cybersecurity policy expert within the Department of Defense (DoD).
Prior to founding BreakPoint Labs, Tommy served as a Senior Program Manager at Parsons Corporation, where he led a team of 85 professionals in the delivery of cybersecurity services, ranging from security operations center (SOC) functions to enterprise-wide vulnerability assessments to innovative cyber research and development initiatives.
He earned an MBA from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s University, and currently holds Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications. He is also an elected official within the State of Maryland, as a Council Member within the Town of Chevy Chase View.
William Glodek has served as the President of BreakPoint Labs, since he co-founded the company in 2015. He is responsible for communicating and implementing the company’s strategic plan, and leading the defensive cyber operations (DCO) and cyber research and development lines of business. Bill has led several key projects for the company, including the development and implementation of large-scale DCO platform detecting malicious cyber activity across more than 200 client locations. Bill interacts regularly with current and prospective clients to understand complex cybersecurity challenges and works to develop sustainable solutions. Bill has more than 15 years experience in leading highly-technical teams focused on software development, digital forensics and incident response, and basic and applied research efforts. Bill is also a recognized expert in development, security, operations (DevSecOps) environments to accelerate the delivery of effective and resilient software to meet client needs.
Prior to founding BreakPoint Labs, Bill served as the Network Security Branch Chief at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL), where he managed a portfolio of basic (6.1) and applied (6.2) cyber research efforts with partners across the DoD, Federal Government, academia, and industry. During his time at ARL, Bill created Dshell, an open source python-based network forensics analysis framework used extensively by law enforcement and counterintelligence agencies, and earned recognition from the Director of the FBI for technical contributions to high-profile investigations.
He earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Florida State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Delaware.
Andrew McNicol has served as the Chief Technology Officer of BreakPoint Labs, since he co-founded the company in 2015. He is responsible for communicating and implementing the company’s technical strategy, including offensive security services and tools, and leads the cybersecurity assessments line of business. Andrew has led several operations for the company, including the tooling and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) development for high-profile cyber red team engagements for several critical infrastructure clients. Andrew helps clients design and execute large-scale penetration testing efforts representative of adversarial behavior to effectively reduce risk to their mission. Andrew has more than 15 years experience in leading a technical workforce focused on red team operations, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments designed to meet the specific goals of each client. Andrew is also a recognized expert in adversarial penetration testing, and works closely with BreakPoint Labs Team Members to ‘adopt an attacker’s mindset’ and continuously develop and hone their technical skills.
Prior to founding BreakPoint Labs, Andrew led a large penetration testing team and worked on a cyber incident response team at Parsons Corporation, focusing on malware analysis and network forensics for DoD, law enforcement, and commercial clients. Andrew has been an invited speaker at numerous Government and industry forums covering topics such as advanced penetration testing techniques beyond automated tools and how to start and grow a career in the information security field.
He earned a Master’s degree in Information Assurance from Capitol Technology University and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Towson University, and holds numerous professional certifications, including OSCE, OSCP, OSWP, GICSP, GCFA, GCIA, GCIH, GPEN, GREM, GSEC, GWAPT, GWEB, CISSP, CEH, etc.
Since joining BreakPoint Labs in 2020, Denise Cole has served as Contracts Manager and principally responsible for the review, negotiation, execution, and maintenance of contractual agreements (prime contracts and task orders, teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and more). Denise is BreakPoint Labs’ primary corporate representative for client contractual points of contact (KOs, CORs, etc.) and manages purchase orders with industry partners. Denise also orchestrates bid and proposal activities amongst BreakPoint Labs’ Leadership Team and technical subject matter experts to formulate and deliver high-value proposals responsive to client requirements. Denise has more than 15 years of government contracting experience, of which 8 years have been focused on contract management and proposal management.
Prior to BreakPoint Labs, Denise was the Director of Contracts and Proposals at eVigilant, a Converged Security Solutions Company, where she managed a team in all aspects of proposal management, contract administration, and subcontract administration. Denise has an innate attention to detail, enabling her to routinely produce error-free contractual documents and high-importance deliverables in accordance with client requirements.
She earned an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Wiesbaden (Germany), and is Six Sigma-certified and proficient in Shipley Associates processes for proposal management.
Dr. Diana Orozco has served as Business Development Manager at BreakPoint Labs since she joined the company in 2021, leading all aspects of capture management and new business pursuits. In close coordination with the company’s Leadership Team and technical subject matter experts, Diana manages the identification, qualification, and opportunity pursuit reviews, in order to best support current and prospective clients. Diana maintains a ‘strategically-focused, opportunity aware’ pipeline of contract opportunities, and works daily with clients and industry partners.
Prior to BreakPoint Labs, Diana managed business development operations at an SBA-certified 8(a) program participant where she developed business development processes to increase efficiencies and effectiveness throughout the capture process. Diana is constantly establishing and cultivating relationships – both government and industry partners – to deliver resilient cybersecurity solutions for BreakPoint Labs’ clients.
She earned a PhD in Organizational Leadership from the University of the Incarnate Word, an MBA from Texas A&M, and a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M, and also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Diana serves as a Board member for Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu (Alamo Chapter), is the Volunteer Director for CyberTexas Foundation, and is a participating member in various professional associations and organizations, such as AFCEA (Membership, Women’s and Wounded Warrior Committees Alamo Chapter), International Information System Security Certification Consortium ((ISC)2 Alamo Chapter), Latinitas, National Security Collaboration Center at UTSA, San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Cybersecurity Council, Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS Alamo Chapter), and Women in Defense (WID Lone Star Chapter).
Phet Thong has served as BreakPoint Labs’ Human Resources Manager since she joined the company in 2018, and is the company’s principal representative for its benefits program. Phet also provides direct support to Program Managers in the delivery of cybersecurity services, including monthly status reporting, travel administration, financial reporting and more. As a ‘chief people officer’ of sorts, Phet works across the company interacting with her ‘clients’ – the employees of BreakPoint Labs – to ensure they’re supported and enabled to deliver high-quality services to the company’s clients. Phet was instrumental in all aspects of plan design for BreakPoint Labs’ benefits plan, and is constantly seeking cost-effective ways to offer health and welfare advantages to the BreakPoint Labs Team. Phet has more than 15 years of government contracting experience, most of which has been focused on various aspects of human resources and corporate services functions.
Prior to BreakPoint Labs, Phet served as Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of STG, a provider of IT services to Defense and Federal clients, where she worked across the large company managing employee engagements from travel administration, timesheet processing, expense reporting, and other reporting requirements of the Executive and Operations Management Team. Phet is the consummate human resources professional with a sincere passion for supporting the most important asset of BreakPoint Labs – its Team Members.
She earned an ABA from Washington Business School and is certified in Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) version 2.0.
