BreakPoint Labs Awarded BPA for Penetration Testing Support to HHS OIG

Falls Church, VA – BreakPoint Labs, a National Capital Region-based cybersecurity services firm, is pleased to announce its award of a multi-year cybersecurity and penetration testing services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to support the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the Inspector General (OIG). The solicitation was executed under the General Services Administration (GSA) IT Schedule 70 for Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services (HACS).
The HHS OIG executes their mission through a nationwide network of audits, investigations, and inspections, including penetration testing, one of BreakPoint Labs’ core capabilities. Besides the Washington DC-based Headquarters, HHS is comprised of 11 operating divisions to include the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). As a result of the advanced penetration testing support, the HHS OIG will be able to assess the effectiveness of information system security controls in place, and measure how well systems are protected when subject to various types of cyber attacks.
